Foul Weather Whip Antenna V2

A handheld VHF and UHF antenna that stands up straight in the cold. The Foul Weather Whip V2 uses a NiTinol wire blend at 1.6 mm, so it won’t sag in sub-zero temperatures. Every antenna is hand made and tuned in San Diego, California, and it is submersible for marine and foul weather use.

It handles 2 m/70 cm ham, FRS, MURS, and GMRS on Baofeng, Yaesu, Quansheng, Motorola, Hytera, and similar radios. It does not work for Meshtastic. For mesh radios, see our mesh antennas.

Adapters

Baofeng and similar radios need the SMA Female to BNC Female Adapter. Yaesu and similar radios need the SMA Male to BNC Female Adapter.

Not sure which adapter you need? Take the antenna off and look at the port on your radio. If there is a pin in the center, you need a female adapter. If there is a hole, you need a male adapter.
