Buy two or more radios and save $1 on each one, or buy four or more and save $2 on each. You can mix and match the GMRS PRO, UV PRO, GMRS V2, F8HP PRO, GMRS-50PRO, and UV-50PRO, and the savings come off automatically at checkout.
The BF-F8HP PRO is for operators who want more power and broader band coverage in a handheld, without stepping up to the highest-cost smart radios. It’s a strong fit for training, field kits, and licensed users who want a capable HT.
Why you’d pick this radio (vs the others): • 10W class handheld power for stronger simplex performance (conditions vary) • Tri-band capability for more flexibility as a licensed operator • GPS + aviation receive features for situational awareness • USB-C charging for easier power management in kits • IP54 rating (more confidence than non-rated budget HTs)
Good fit for: • Licensed operators who want a versatile HT for training, field use, and backup comms.
Important note: • Amateur (ham) license required for transmitting on ham bands.
